New Car & Pick-up Truck sales affected by Chip Shortages

The shortage of semiconductor chips has drastically decreased the sales of new cars and pick-up trucks. Earlier, the production has been on halt and various initiatives were enforced by Biden Administration to regulate the supply. 

Recently, Ford has received the supply of these chips to start the production of incomplete vehicles standing idle at production plants. However, there is a huge drop in the sales of new cars and a price surge in used cars. The price of used cars is touching the sky due to the poor supply of semiconductor chips.

The chip shortage has pushed the production of cars, SUVs, and pick-up trucks. The new cars sales for June has seen by 14 percent in comparison to last year sales. 

The manufacturing shows the constraints in semiconductor chips supply. They are trying to retain the maximum support and supply from the outsiders to amp up the production. 

The pandemic has taken a huge toll on the production of vehicles, financial issues, shortages of workers, lesser supply of parts, and accessories. The Government is working towards creating products Made in America. This will increase the supply and create opportunities for Americans to increase the revenue.
