Toyota announced about unveiling the two electric vehicles in the United States. The one will be a crossover and the details of the other are unknown. The Automaker made it official to introduce a new plug-in hybrid vehicle by 2022.
Toyota has been continuously telling about its hybrid and plug-in hybrid vehicles since the hype of Electric vehicles started in the U.S. In 2020 December, Toyota told the world about the expansion of electric crossover in the European market. Now they are bringing the same vehicle to the U.S. market.
They plan to build a solid battery-powered vehicle in the coming years. Their strategy is to continue building electrified vehicles by 40 percent by 2025 and the rest by 2030. Toyota is quite late in the process of procuring full hybrid and electric vehicles and providing a healthier environment.
