While we only fit three carry-on bags behind the third row, we were able to fit 33 total with all of the back seats stowed.

BMW’s iDrive infotainment system is contained in a 12.3-inch touch screen that responds fast to inputs in the X7. A rotary knob on the center console provides an alternate method of controlling the system. The few remaining physical buttons on the central stack are labeled. This model’s technological prowess is supplemented by an additional 12.3-inch display that serves as a fully digital gauge cluster.

Things start to go wrong when you try to get fancy with the infotainment system.
