BMW M8 COUPE AND CONVERTIBLE TO GO ON A BREAK IN U.S MARKETS IN 2021

BMW M8 COUPE AND CONVERTIBLE TO GO ON A BREAK IN U.S MARKETS IN 2021

Another terrible news for the automotive world is that BMW confirmed that the M8 coupe and convertible are not going to continue in the U.S markets for the year 2021. Although this break of the two-doors M8 is not permanent, yet no statement of the return is confirmed. However, the M8 Gran Coupe will continue for the year 2021.

The Covid19 pandemic affected the automotive market deeply due to which there were not as many sales of the 8 series as expected this year, thus leading to an ample supply of 2020 models left and also the demand for expensive/luxury two-door models is not that much. These two reasons contribute directly to the phasing out of the M8 models.

Already the departure of the Ford Mustang Shelby GT350 was heart-wrenching news for all the automotive enthusiasts, and now bidding farewell to another popular series is just going to make it worse. The good news is fans will still have the 2021 M8 Gran Coupe and M850i convertible and coupe available in the market to experience a blend of a smooth ride, powerful engine, and beautiful design. There will also be a lot of dealers selling the 2020 M8 coupe and convertible models which, will at least act as a relief for some time. With 2020 being a disaster for the automotive world, let’s wait for some good news to knock our door.
