2021 Chevy Silverado is refreshed with a series of newer and advanced features with a Multi-flex tailgate that opens in six ways. The revamped 2021 line-up has a diesel six-cylinder engine and turbocharged four-cylinder engine with maximum towing capacity.

The trailer-assistance technology with jackknife alert eases the hauling allows safe towing transactions when changing the lane and a cargo-bed viewer to hook up the fifth-wheel trailer.

Engine and Power

The full-size pick-up truck is loaded with power and huge capability to run on city and highway without affecting fuel efficiency. It has a standard V6 engine making 285 horsepower, turbocharged four-cylinder engine 310 horsepower V8, 420 horsepower V8 engine, and a six-cylinder diesel engine.

The engines run smoothly, agile handling, balanced ride that makes it an ideal choice for off-roading. The impressive off-road performance with four-wheel drive and a rugged suspension increase the capability of the truck.

The fuel efficiency of the Silverado 1500 is quite remarkable and delivers an EPA of 20 mpg in the city and 23 mpg on highways. The diesel engine delivers a fuel economy of 23 mpg city and 33 mpg highway. Silverado can tow up to 13,300 pounds and payload capacity of 2,280 pounds.
